I’m not sure who needs to see this column in Santa Rosa County to make it happen, but I’d really love it if we could get a public pool at either end of the county some point before the end of time. Having a pool at both ends of the county would be even better.
So far this year, 25 cases of Vibrio Vulnificus — a bacterium sometimes referred to as “flesh-eating bacteria” — have been reported in Florida, including five in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties.
