Letter: Longtime resident speaks in favor of incorporation
As a longtime resident of Navarre, I have been involved in the local politics of Santa Rosa County for many years.
My family has owned property on the Navarre Sound since the early 1930s. I remember when there was only Mr. Robinson’s Gas and Grocery store on Hwy 98 in Navarre.

Letter: Big vehicles breaking beach road rules
After Hurricane Sally, the road on the National Seashore (399) that runs from Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach was closed for months.
When it finally opened, the speed limit was clearly marked at 25 mph (and 15 mph in some places) because of the remaining damage to the road and because some lanes were only partially open.
