Formerly slated for RV park, Navarre Beach property now for sale
The site formerly slated for an RV park on Navarre Beach has been placed on the market.
The 23.12-acre site, located directly west of Paradise Point Drive, was approved for an RV park by the Santa Rosa County Commission in October 2023. According to the Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser’s website, the site has been owned by Santa Rosa Development LLC since December 2012 and is appraised at $12,737,250. The sale price is listed as $26,500,000.

Santa Rosa Animal Services participating in statewide adoption event to find homes for 2,000 pets

New Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officers ready for primetime
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office has two new faces, however, they won’t be donning a badge. They are public information officers, responsible for releasing pertinent information concerning the agency to the public.
For the past few years, Jillian Durkin has held the role, helping facilitate press conferences, interviews with the Sheriff, and being a public face of the agency at community events. To replace Durkin, who left the agency in June, the Sheriff’s Office has named Mikiko Tucker as public information officer (PIO) and Kylie Blankenship as assistant PIO.
