Beach restoration work to begin Nov. 27, last through January 2025
The long-awaited restoration of Navarre Beach, which was originally supposed to take place last year, is finally happening. According to Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District, the restoration project was awarded to Manson Construction at the bid price of $11,491,462.

Navarre Beach Fire Rescue boat makes debut
The Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District held a christening event to debut their new rescue boat. The boat, which is 25 ft. and 8 inches long and 8 and a half feet wide, will be used in rescue scenarios in Santa Rosa Sound and, if need be, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office sending hurricane help to Lafayette County
Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office announced that it will be sending personnel and supplies to Lafayette County to assist in recovery efforts following Hurricane Debby’s landfall. The agency will be leaving the Sheriff’s Office at 2 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 5).

Flame On: Holley Navarre Fire District holds car fire demo at end of cadet program
