Ervin Edward Gras, 73, of the 9100 block of Quail Roost Drive, was arrested May 8 on a first-degree felony charge of sexual assault by a custodian with a victim between the ages of 12 and 18 years old.

Okaloosa County Beach Safety personnel found a large bale of cocaine in the surf behind a Destin condominium complex on the Gulf Sunday at around 11:30 a.m.
Police were called March 25 the Gulf Breeze Post Office in reference to a suspicious package. A K-9 unit alerted on the package, which contained roughly 48 pounds of marijuana.
