Navarre High seniors painted parking spaces Friday afternoon ahead of the upcoming school year.
This is the second consecutive year seniors have been able to customize their parking spots in the student parking lot.

On July 28, a band that has never played Tunes By the Dunes will make their Navarre Beach debut. Although Password Reset is new to the local concert series, they have been around since 2009.
Their lead singer, Rafaela O’Reilly, has been around music for practically all her life. O’Reilly, whose stage name is ‘Roxie,” was born and raised in Union City, Indiana.
New fire station to address needs of Holley area
When Governor Ron DeSantis approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, he approved $1.5 million for a new, 7200 square foot fire station and training facility in Holley.
Although the allocation was made during the latest legislative cycle, the Holley-Navarre Fire District has been planning on opening up a fire station in Holley for at least 20 years.
Navarre local earns her wings of gold at NAS Whiting Field
Lieutenant junior grade Jacqueline Thomas, a Navarre native, earned her wings of gold at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whiting Field June 24.
In addition to receiving the coveted wings of gold, Thomas was recognized as a Commodore’s List awardee and recipient of the Daedalian Award.

Over the past few months, he has noticed a significant decline in the amount of blue crab that he has caught.
