For many young athletes, their biggest goal is to compete at the highest level, but what happens if they don’t make it.

According to a fact sheet from the National Federation of State High School Association, only six percent of high school student-athletes go on to compete in college and only two percent of those that play in college make it professionally.

For five years Community Life Church (CLC) in Gulf Breeze has hosted a prom night experience centered on God’s love for people ages 14 and older with exceptional abilities.

The past four years it was called Night to Shine. Last year, due to the pandemic, the event was converted into a reverse parade where the participants stayed in their cars and drove through the red carpet instead.
