Mitch Nay had already hit a home run for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a solo shot that tied the game against the Mississippi Braves at 1-1 in the second inning. And now he was at the plate in the eighth, two outs against his team, which trailed 2-1 with two strikes against him.
