Alexandra Timmons, the current principal at Holley-Navarre Primary, has been promoted to director of risk management for the Santa Rosa County School District after being recommended by the school board.
Santa Rosa Education Foundation is pleased to announce the 35 nominees for Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year. Nominees were selected by their peers at schools throughout the district.
Santa Rosa County District Schools has been named an Academically High-Performing School District for the 2020-21 school year again, per section 1003.621, Florida Statutes by the Florida Department of Education. This designation is based on the 2018-19 school and district grades, 2019-20 financial audit reviews and the 2020-21 class size compliance.

Two students from Navarre High School were surprised with $1,500 grants on behalf of the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System (GCOOS) and presented by Dr. Karen Barber, Superintendent of Santa Rosa County Schools. The grants are part of a $1 million grant funded by Shell and the National Science Foundation.
