It’s not every day that you build a bridge with popsicle sticks in science class. Recently, East Bay K-8 sixth graders did just that.
“The students were given the task to build a prototype bridge (engineering & design) that would be used to connect two cities together that was separated by a river, and was 50 kilometers apart,” East Bay K-8 Earth/Space Science teacher Joseph D. Pritchard said.
Carly Russ is in select company as Navarre’s first National Merit Scholar semifinalist in several years.
The senior is honored to be in the running for one of the scholarships that will be given out to half of the 15,000 finalists.
