Jared Lowe named new assistant county admin

Santa Rosa County has a new county administrator in Brad Baker, who previously served as assistant county administrator. To fill Baker’s previous role, the county appointed Jared Lowe, an administrative services director who has been with the county on and off again since 2019.

County Economic Development Office offering StRIVE grant through July

From May 1 through the end of July, Santa Rosa County small business owners will have the opportunity to upgrade their storefronts thanks to matching grants from the county.

After having been put on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Rosa Improvement Vitalization Enterprise (StRIVE) grant program is being revived for summer 2024. Businesses applying for the grant are eligible for funds up to $10,000.
