Santa Rosa All County Band hits right note in Pace

The sound of rain couldn’t drown out the sound of Santa Rosa’s All County Band Saturday, Jan. 27.

In spite of the gloomy weather, parents, school district employees and the community packed Pace Assembly of God to hear both middle school and high school students perform a variety of tunes from classics such as the Wizard of Oz and Star Wars to more recent compositions such as Tarantella by Carol Brittin Chambers.

The decision of where and how to move the District One Medical Examiner’s Office is still up in the air. On Aug. 18, Escambia County Commissioners discussed two options to look at in Escambia County.

The two options being presented by Escambia County are the old Baptist facility on Moreno and E Streets and creating an extension on Sacred Heart’s campus, where the current facility is.
