Navarre dominates preseason volleyball matches

Energized, unified and looking more sharp than a team typically is this time of the year, Navarre’s volleyball team rolled through a pair of preseason matches Thursday night in Pensacola.

When Jeremy Wheatman died sometime before 4:49 Sunday afternoon, it was fitting that his pastor was one of the first Navarre people to hear the news. John Kerns, pastor of Navarre Beachside Church, holds regular services at Navarre Beach, where Jeremy frequently hung out.

Jeremy, who was homeless, would listen from the fringes to the sermon.
