Lady Raiders’ lifters take all ten first places at quad meet

The Lady Raider weightlifting team traveled to Milton last Thursday for a quad meet, and once again, the Raiders dominated the competition. The Lady Raiders scored 95, while the second closest team was Gulf Breeze with 30. Pace scored 24 and Milton 4 in the meet. A Raider placed first in all 10 weight divisions. They also placed second in all but two weight divisions.

Raiders shut out Milton and Pine Forest

The Raiders came back from the Thanksgiving break hungry to be back in action. They shut out Milton 8 – 0 last Monday at home in only 40 minutes. The following night, the Raiders shut out Pine Forest 6 – 0 at home.

Special Wings take flight at Holley studio

Will Lake was singing from the heart as he belted out the lyrics to “Special Wings” last Thursday at Coleman Sound Studios in Holley. Unfortunately, Lake was also singing from personal experience as he and friend Ken Rousseau recorded the tune about children suffering overseas.

Two arrested for meth lab

Two arrests were made after officers discovered a methamphetamine lab in a residence on the 8300 block of Segura Street, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
