NEW YORK (AP) — A tiny book of psalms from 1640, believed to be the first book printed in what’s now the United States, sold for just under $14.2 million on Tuesday, setting an auction record for a printed book.

The Grill Restaurant at The Club at Hidden Creek is revamping its image. Pending approval from the Holley-Navarre Water System board of directors, the golf course’s restaurant will undergo a rebranding effort complete with new name, logo and additional southern-style menu items.
The Lady Raider lifters defeated Fort Walton Beach 80 to 7 at home on Nov. 24. After two overwhelming victories, it is obvious from where the team’s competition will come; it will come from teammates. The Raiders are loaded with talent in each weight class. Each team can only have two lifters competing in each weight class for the district championship and the state qualifying meet. Currently, some weight divisions have three or four lifters that have combined totals that are 10 pounds or less apart. The competitors are all pushing each other.
In their last game before the Thanksgiving break, the Raiders shutout the Fort Walton Vikings 6 – 0 at NYSA on Nov. 19. The Raiders do not have another scheduled game until Dec. 2.
Middle school can be one of the most difficult and awkward times for maturing students, and Woodlawn Beach Middle School eighth grade pre-algebra teacher Kelly Barnes is more than happy to do anything she can do to spark her students’ interest in math and keep them motivated throughout the school year.
