The Santa Rosa County website includes a copy of a card that individuals can print out and sign that identifies them as members of the Santa Rosa County Militia. The bearer, according to the card, is an “official member of the SRC Militia” and “thereby entitled to all rights and benefits accorded.”

A parking lot that has gotten heavy use as a cut-through since the forced closing of the Pensacola Bay Bridge received some quick repairs last week, with a long-term solution in the works.

Girl Scouts have not been selling cookies outside of local grocery stores. That’s left a void for scouts eager to fundraise for activities, as well as folks who want their annual cookie fix.
