Raiders come away from clash with rival feeling hopeful

Down two sets to none and on the brink of being swept for the fifth consecutive time against rival Gulf Breeze, Navarre dug in and battled back last Thursday night.

The Raiders weren’t going to let the Dolphins just cruise to another easy win. They served the ball well, came up with key kills and got after it defensively, diving on the floor to keep the ball in play.

Santa Rosa receives $2.6 million in School Recognition Funding

On Oct. 17, Governor Ron DeSantis awarded more than $200 million in awards through the School Recognition Program. Santa Rosa County District Schools is pleased to be the recipient of $2.6 million in recognition funds. The School Recognition Program recognizes the high quality of many of Florida’s public schools. As authorized in Section 1008.36, the program provides greater autonomy and financial awards to schools that demonstrate sustained or significantly improved student performance.

Cool cars, kids and cookoffs

It was a busy weekend in Navarre.
