Navarre Beach Fire Rescue (NBFR) could become its own entity, not under Santa Rosa County, as the department leaders are actively exploring becoming a special fire district.
Ashton Hayward, III, former mayor of Pensacola, will begin serving as president of the Andrews Institute Research & Education Foundation (AREF) effective Jan. 7, 2019.
