Tallahassee – A federal judge this week refused to dismiss a lawsuit alleging that Florida has violated the Endangered Species Act because of sewage discharges into the Indian River Lagoon that have helped lead to manatee deaths.

The Navarre Youth Sports Association is looking for help after heavy rains flooded their main building, gym, and other complexes. The rains came over the weekend of Sept. 14 and by Monday, Sept. 16 the NYSA had serious enough flooding issues that Santa Rosa County’s Facilities Management Department were coming by to assess damage.
