Eglin AFB’s 96th security forces help ensure mission success

Eglin is the largest Air Force Base in the United States. With around 725 square miles (464,000 acres) of land and 153 miles of shoreline to cover, the Air Force relies on the 96th Security Forces Squadron to protect base operations. Standing between Eglin’s assets and the outside world, the Security Forces operate as a military police service within the Air Force and Space Force.
