Santa Rosa Medical Group is growing its Navarre primary care team with the addition of Dale Pippin, M.D., a board-certified internal medicine physician. Dr. Pippin, who begins seeing patients later this month, will provide primary care services with a focus on preventive healthcare for patients 16 years and older.

Tallahassee – A battle about a 2021 Florida law that placed restrictions on social-media platforms will get a more-detailed look from a federal district judge.
After a decade in the custody of Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, Brandon Aydelott, 28, is heading to a “step down” facility per a judge’s order. He has been in the State Hospital following his killing of Sharon Aydelott, his mother, on Christmas Eve 2013.
On Thursday, Aug. 15, Aydelott appeared in court for the first time since March 26. The court proceeding was part of the reopening of Aydelott’s case, a process which began in 2022. The case was reopened to see about moving Aydelott from the State Hospital to a restrictive mental health treatment facility known as the Apalachee Center, located in Quincy.
