At approximately 10 a.m. Friday Oct. 30, a Cessna 172N registered to Hum’n Byrds Inc., made an emergency landing just west of Navarre Beach in Escambia County.

According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 10 a.m. on Nov. 2, the Florida Highway Patrol requested the assistance of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a stolen vehicle. Troopers advised the vehicle was southbound on Highway 87 after running from a trooper during a traffic stop. During the incident, the vehicle came to a stop on Nichols Lake Road in Milton and the suspect ran from the trooper on foot.
