Out and About

Early voting – is 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. from this past Monday until Saturday, November 5. For the first time, they are open on Sunday. On the south end – you can vote at the South Santa Rosa Service Center at 5841 Gulf Breeze Pkwy or the Tiger Point Community Center at 1370 Tiger Park. Really – they aren’t that far apart. Informed voters needed

Thomas Jefferson was quoted saying,”If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed.”  Is this basic truth being ignored by our citizens and will we remain free? Are the Republican principals of a representative democracy being taught in our schools? Based on the responses given by the man on the street, our citizens do not understand our founding principles that made the United States of America one of the greatest countries in the world. Are we truly informed about the choices we will make in the upcoming election? Our freedom may be at risk.

Vote yes on Holley-Navarre Fire District referendum

This election is indeed as important as they come.  Who will be our next president?  United States Senator? State Representative? Will the medical marijuana law be expanded?  And for all the residents in Navarre and Holley, the life safety issue is will we vote yes to raise the fire-assessment fee for the Holley-Navarre Fire District?
