iNKSTAND students reporting for education

Hundreds of students grace the hallways of West Navarre Intermediate School.  And a group of 18 of those students may well be the future journalists of Navarre.  This class, known as iNKSTAND, is reporting the news of WNIS through a digital newsletter under the leadership of teachers Kenny Long and Elizabeth Bauer.

Navarre woman arrested in prostitution sting

Camillia Rushing, 23, of Frontera St. in Navarre, was arrested Friday Oct.2 and charged with solicitation for prostitution in conjunction with an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office prostitution sting operation, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Relay teams lead way at Optimist meet

Navarre’s swim team competed at the Optimist Dolphin Invitational at the University of West Florida Saturday.  A total of 16 teams competed and served as preparation for the district meet there later this month.
