Mary Esther veteran  participates in disabled veterans sports clinic

Clinton Hale, an Air Force veteran from Mary Esther, is participated in the 29th National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, March 29 to April 3, in Snowmass, Colo.. Co-sponsored by Disabled American Veterans and the Department of Veterans Affairs  (VA), the clinic is a world-leader in adaptive winter sports instruction for veterans with severe injuries and illnesses.

Volleyball club beneficial to local players

Camryn Revette can’t imagine what life would be like as an athlete if she wasn’t playing for the Navarre Beach Volleyball Club. Revette, a sophomore, competes for the club when she isn’t competing for the Navarre Raiders during the high school season.

A self-contained city

In the 2014 a non-binding vote on incorporation, the few people who did vote did not know what incorporation would mean for Navarre and their families. To put it simply, Navarre wants to be a self-contained city, not an area outpost.
