The Navarre Beach Lifeguards went to Daytona Beach this past month to compete in the United States Lifesaving Association’s Lifesaving Regional Championships and returned as second place finishers.

Fireworks won’t be lighting up the sky above any high school football stadiums in Santa Rosa County this season after a ban was put in place Friday by the school district.
