A 25-year-old woman who grew up in Pace has died due to complications from the H1N1 flu virus, making this the third such death to impact Santa Rosa County this year.
Although Marion Moseley, born in Tampa, Feb. 21, 1926, more or less grew up in Tennessee, Florida and Mississippi as her father, a ceramic tile contractor, traveled to different job sites, she really, in a way, learned a lot about life while in Mississippi.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office confirms it’s actively investigating residential burglaries in the Navarre area. “We aren’t able to release specific details because it’s an active investigation,” said Rich Aloy, SRCSO spokesman. During the past six months, 42 residential burglaries have been reported in the Navarre area. “Generally burglars operate during daytime hours seeking dwellings that are unoccupied,” Aloy said.
