Navarre Presbyterian celebrates 25th anniversary

In 1998, Navarre welcomed a presbyterian church to the area. Navarre Presbyterian Church is still going strong 25 years later.

In honor of that 25th anniversary, Navarre Presbyterian hosted a special luncheon after their Sunday service to recall good times and good fellowship.

Santa Rosa graduation rates exceed pre-pandemic levels

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted education throughout the United States. Students, teachers, parents, and administrators had to adjust to lockdowns, online learning and other disruptions to students, even after reopening schools.

Despite these challenges, the Florida Department of Education announced Jan. 13 that high school graduation rates for the 2021-2022 school year not only met pre-pandemic levels, they exceeded them across the state. Santa Rosa County was no exception.

Bishop Wack, Diocese look to new year

Even after five years as Bishop with the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, Bishop William “Bill” Wack said he is just getting started.

Over the past few years, Wack (pronounced wok) and the Diocese have had to deal with several issues which have taken away the church’s ability to map out the future.
