UPDATE: New possible high school site found – at the flea market

The Santa Rosa County School District has its eyes on an approximately 35-acre parcel of land that contains more than half of the Gulf Breeze Flea Market building. The western side of the building is contained in the parcel located on the north side of U.S. Highway 98 in Midway.
The flea market property was approved for purchase by the Santa Rosa County School Board Sept. 21 for a new high school in Midway. The 35-acre parcel is located south of Government Drive, east of Justice Circle and west of America Avenue. An area map depicting the property is shown above.
