Madril using title game heartbreak as motivation for 2021

Emily Madril has dealt with defeat before in her soccer career, but the loss Florida State suffered against Santa Clara in the national championship game in May cut deeper than usual.

In a game decided by a penalty kick shootout, Madril walked off the field with tears in her eyes and the added sting of knowing the Seminoles should have prevailed.
