FWC grants provide big boost to lionfish research

Lionfish continue to pose a threat to native wildlife and habitats in Florida.
Julio, a fisherman with the Asociacion de Pescadores del Caribe Sur (APACS), uses traps, or nasas, to catch lionfish, an invasive species brought to the waters off of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, from the Indian Ocean.
