For example the children being held at the order, 12,000 illegal immigrant children are now held at the border retention centers. Democrats want you to believe all 12,000 were brought here by their parents and are now separated from them. This is intolerable and inhumane they will say! The truth is that 10,000 of the 12,000 were put in the hands of strangers and sent to the boarder. Who knows why the parents take this action. The remaining 2,000 are a conglomerate of real families and criminals with children seeking to enter our country and exploit the loop hole in the immigration law that allows catch and release.
Our immigration laws need enforcement and the system needs to be revised to promote immigration of people based on merit. Case in point is California; California is now the state with the highest welfare percentage (more than Mississippi). The detreating conditions in California explain why thousands of people are now fleeing this state.
