Babs is expanding the menu by introducing her handcrafted recipes that proved to be delicious when they ran as specials.
“We’ve done a bunch of specials over the past few months, and these are the best sellers,” owner David Crumbley said. “This is all her work. She comes up with all these really cool recipes.”
Live music continues every Friday or Saturday night from 6-9 p.m. and features a variety of local musicians, all with unique styles and songs. This Saturday on Sept. 11 Jamel Boast will be playing.
“He’s like a human jukebox,” David said. “He plays just about everything.”
Next Saturday evening, Sept. 18, solo artist Nick Andrews will play his collection of soft rock classics. He plays both piano and guitar and uses a looper for a full sound.
Solo stand-up electric bass player, who goes by the name Benghazi, will serenade the crowd Sept. 25. The following week, Oct. 2, a three-piece local band named Three Bean Soup, will play music with a bluegrass feel mixed with rock and folk.
Then, on Oct. 9, Jeff Taylor will be playing his guitar, Spanish style
