Navarre’s boys golf team is off to a promising start to its season. In a match against Pace, Gulf Breeze and Milton on Thursday at Hidden Creek, three players shot in the 40s.

Navarre takes top honors at swim meet
Navarre and Pace finished first and second, respectively, in the overall team standings at a tri-meet with West Florida Tech Tuesday afternoon at the Pullum YMCA.
The Raiders had two individual first-place finishes on the girls side, with Alina Schorzman taking first in the 100 Freestyle (10:04.07) and Brynlee Kurtz recording the top time in the 500 Free (6:07.88).

Raiders win tri-match against Patriots, Panthers
Navarre’s girls golf team played its first home match of the year, hosting Pace and Milton at Hidden Creek Tuesday afternoon, and the Raiders came out on top.
The Raiders won the tri-match with a 202 as a team, with Lillian Robertson and Hailey Netro leading the way. Both shot under 50.

First invite of year sets foundation for Raider runners going forward
Navarre Raider cross-country coach James Fox said the Patriot Invitational over Labor Day weekend was an opportunity for the runners to set the tone for the season ahead.
He also liked the fact that the team didn’t have to run in the heat for once as the sky was cloudy and a light rain fell at Sims Middle School in Pace.

There was little doubt about the University of West Florida coming out on top in its season opener against Kentucky Wesleyan Friday night at Pen Air Field.
The Argos came in ranked in the top nationally and coming off a third NCAA Division II final four appearance in program history. Kentucky Wesleyan was unranked and won just two games in 2022.

Navarre’s tough start continues with road loss to Eagles
Rain began to fall hard as Navarre’s football team walked off the field stinging from a 40-17 loss to Pine Forest, the cold eyes of an 0-2 start staring right at them.
This wasn’t the way the Raiders had hoped their trip over to Pensacola would go here Friday night at Lon R Wise Stadium, especially a game against a team now coached by former long-time assistant Tony Carter.
