Nardi promoted to Jacksonville
Pensacola Blue Wahoos pitcher Andrew Nardi has been promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville.
Nardi owns a 1.40 ERA in 19 1/3 innings of work. He has struck out 31 batters.
Raider baseball team holding camp
The Navarre baseball team will hold a youth camp June 20-22 from 9 a.m. until Noon each day.
The camp is open to children ages 8 through those entering high school this fall.
Girls hoops team holding basketball camp
The Navarre Raider girls basketball team is holding a youth camp for children ages 8-14 June 6-8.
The camp will run from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day.
Raider soccer camp set for June
Navarre’s girls soccer team is hosting its summer camp June 13-16 at the Navarre Soccer Complex.
The camp is open to boys and girls ages 4-13 and will focus on learning basic skills through the use of fun drills and exercises.

As the pandemic ramped up in March of 2020, forcing a shutdown of the nation, the lights went out on Quentin Randolph’s dream of playing football beyond college.
His pro day at Florida A&M, where 15-16 NFL scouts were expected to be on hand, had been canceled. That meant the former Navarre and University of West Florida wide receiver, now living on his own, knew he had to literally still keep the lights on even if the lights had dimmed on his dream.

When Rachel Leggett started high school, she never imagined basketball would be her ticket to playing a college sport.
“If you would have asked me four years ago as a freshman what I was planning on doing with my life, I would have been ‘I’m going to college for track,’” Leggett said.
