Navarre’s boys weightlifting team competed in its first big meet of the season, taking part in the Baker Invitational Wednesday.
The Raiders finished fourth in Olympic and sixth in traditional in a meet featuring the top area teams.

A familiar face is back as the head coach of the Navarre Raider girls lacrosse team as Teddi Koppelberger has returned to coach it.
Koppelberger was the head coach of the program in its inaugural season in 2020, which was cut short by the pandemic, before moving out of the area after the 2021 season.

Facing a four-run deficit after two innings, Navarre’s baseball team battled back and nearly came up with a season-opening win over Niceville last Tuesday night.
The Raiders got within two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, but the Eagles answered in the top of the seventh and then held off a final-inning rally as Navarre lost 6-3.

Navarre’s girls weightlifting team stuck around for the team championship trophy presentation Friday night, watching rival Pace claim both the 3A Olympic and traditional titles at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
While this marked the second consecutive year that the Raiders fell short of adding an eighth state championship in program history, the end of the season was still something worth noting.
