Navarre remains in top four in girls hoops regional poll

Navarre drops down one spot in the girls basketball regional rankings that were released Monday.

The Raiders, are now fourth in Region 1-6A after dropping a 53-40 decision to region frontrunner Fort Walton Beach last Wednesday.

It’s district tournament time for Raider soccer teams

Navarre’s girls soccer team didn’t play its final two games of the regular season due to the colder weather that moved into the area last week, but the Raiders are anything but cold heading into the District 1-6A tournament.

Navarre (13-5-1) has won 10 of its last 12 games, including four in a row, and it wrapped up the regular season last Wednesday with a 7-1 win over Pensacola.

Patriot girls soccer team focused on staying on track

Up until last Tuesday night, Pace’s girls soccer team had been on a roll. The Patriots were unbeaten in their last four games, tying state powerhouse Niceville while winning their last three.

But the Patriots didn’t have an answer for Navarre after closing the gap to 3-2 at Bennett C. Russell Stadium. The Raiders scored the next three goals as Pace lost for the first time since Dec. 10.
