Cruz’s hat trick leads Raiders in shutout Fort Walton Beach
In their last game before the Thanksgiving break, the Raiders shutout the Fort Walton Vikings 6 – 0 at NYSA on Nov. 19. The Raiders do not have another scheduled game until Dec. 2.
Lady Raiders’ soccer round-up
The Lady Raiders traveled to Niceville on Nov. 19 and after 80 minutes of play, the score remained at 0 – 0. “We had better opportunities in the game,” Coach Rob Simon said. “We just could not make the last pass that would have resulted in scores.”
Raiders defeat Catholic, tie Pace and Niceville
Facing numerous injuries and a player missing time because of his participation in another sport, head coach Zac Preston and the Navarre High School boys soccer team were looking at a difficult week. However, the Raiders steadied the tide with a 2 – 1 win against Catholic and ties against both Pace and Niceville.

Lady Raiders’ dominate opening weightlifting meet
The Navarre girls weightlifting program could have entered this year with a rebuilding mentality after losing five of the six medal winners from last year’s state championship team to graduation. However, this team is extremely motivated to make a return trip to the state meet in February.
Raider swimmers to compete for state titles
Three members of the Navarre swim and dive team punched their tickets to the FHSAA State Championship with strong performances at last week’s Regional competition in Jacksonville.

GULF BREEZE – Navarre survived a fourth-quarter Gulf Breeze blitzkrieg to win its sixth-straight Beach Bowl 34-24 Friday at Dolphins Stadium.
Lady Raiders get stingy with goals
The Navarre High girls soccer team began the week by shutting out Crestview 8 – 0 in a Nov. 5 away contest. Two days later, the Lady Raiders played arch-rival Gulf Breeze to a scoreless tie at NYSA. Playing their third game of the week, Navarre traveled to West Florida High School and shut out the Jaguars 2 – 0 last Saturday.
