The Raiders won the district championship for the 11th straight time at home on Jan. 8. It was also the 11th straight year they have gone undefeated in district play. The final score was Navarre 111, Niceville 51, Crestview 36 and Fort Walton Beach 21.

Navarre senior defensive back Michael Sandle was named a first-team 6A All-State selection on Wednesday.  Sandle was one of four Raiders to earn all-state honors. The players were selected by newspaper editors and reporters in Florida.

After completing its best regular season in school history with an 18-2-2 record, Navarre’s girls soccer team won its first district title, edging Niceville 5-4 in a game decided by penalty kicks. Tori Martino scored the game-winning penalty kick.
