Navarre’s boys soccer team made quite a statement in its opening week of the season. The Raiders won a pair of games and saw their third opportunity for a win washed by rain Saturday.
This wasn’t a pretty win, a polished display of offense and defense, but that’s just fine in this instance for Navarre’s girls basketball team. Winning a game that at times was rugged worked just fine Tuesday afternoon against Escambia.
