The second annual Amy Wolfenden Invitational took place on Saturday at the University of West Florida Aquatic Center.


Navarre, Pace, Milton and Crestview were among the teams at the meet.

Navarre’s boys and girls cross-country teams both took first place at the Wildcat Invitational Saturday at the University of West Florida.


Jaelee Placke led the charge for the girls, running a 21.40 to place first overall, while Brody Bruce crossed the finish line in first place as he clocked in with a time of 16:59.

Pace has moved up to third in the latest FHSAA regional football rankings in 6A and Milton is fourth in 5A. Baker is also in the mix for a postseason berth the Rural classification.

Less than a week remains until district tournament play begins and several area teams are in the mix for a postseason berth.


Jay is ranked second in Rural in the latest FHSAA regional rankings while Baker is fourth. Pace, winners of 12 in a row, is eighth in Region 1-6A.
