If there were any doubts about the progress Navarre has made in boys weightlifting since the season began, one only needs to look at the results of the Navarre Invitational last Wednesday afternoon.
Nine lifters finished in first place and pushed Navarre to a convincing boys weightlifting tri-meet victory over Fort Walton Beach and Choctaw Wednesday afternoon at Choctaw.
After being no-hit by Niceville in their opener, the Navarre Raiders took their frustrations out on the Indians of Choctaw last Tuesday, winning 10-1 in the softball showdown.
