Raiders overwhelm Crusaders with strong defensive effort
Navarre’s boys basketball team spent part of its Saturday watching film from the night before. A 12-point loss to Milton on Friday left the Raiders in need of a bounce-back win.
That film session paid off. Navarre bounced back against Catholic Saturday night with a 63-32 win that was fueled by its best defensive performance of the season.
Chambers, Crowder earn MVP honors at All-Star Game
Kyle Chambers faked the handoff and took off running, eluding a few defenders and barreling over another before finally being brought to the ground after a gain of just over 20 yards in Friday’s Pensacola Sports All-Game.
That kind of run wasn’t anything new for Chambers. The Navarre quarterback made those moves all the time before suffering a collarbone injury in late October that ended his senior season.
