There is a lot riding on the University of West Florida’s NCAA Division II Top 25 showdown with Texas A&M Commerce tonight in the Lone Star State.
The Argos come in as the top-ranked team in the nation and can start 3-0 for the first time in program history with a win tonight.
Dominant second half propels Navarre Raiders to district win over Aggies
Kyle Chambers rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another score while the defense dominated the second-half as Navarre shook off a slow start and buried Tate 35-14 in the District 1-7A opener for both teams Friday night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.
Trailing 14-12, Chambers threw the go-ahead touchdown pass with 1:30 to play until halftime as the Raiders took the their first lead of the night and never looked back.

Joey Indelicato, Juan Martinez and Kolby Vitale are the only players returning from last season’s baseball team.
They just spent the summer leading the way for Navarre during workouts and are happy with the steps the Raiders took in the early stages of their preparation for the 2022 season.
