Navarre’s girls basketball team is set for a new season, and the Raiders have a cast of experienced players it will be able to lean on throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

Navarre’s girls soccer team has played a challenging schedule out of the gate, and it didn’t get any easier Tuesday night in a District 1-6A showdown with Niceville.


The Raiders were beaten 4-0 by the Eagles in a rematch of last year’s Sweet 16 matchup.

There was a different kind of energy among the Navarre boys basketball players as they dominated from start to finish in a 77-41 season-opening win over Pine Forest Tuesday night at home.


And you could sense that energy in the stands too, especially in the raucous student section, which was hyped up cheering on the home team as a new era of Raider hoops got rolling.

Adalynn Curtis and Jaelee Placke helped lead the way for another successful Raider cross-country season for the Raiders.


The two were part of a Raider team that made the Region 1-4A meet for the second consecutive season earlier this month.

Brody Bruce didn’t start running cross-country until his sophomore year of high school at Navarre.


That was the beginning of a successful run, literally, for Bruce, who punched a ticket to state for the first time earlier this month.

Braylon Nelson has been chasing his baseball dreams most of his life, heavily involved in the recruiting process since the age of 14, and he will soon be headed to the next level.
