Garrett Bagley is the new head coach of the Navarre Raider football team.

Bagley replaces Jay Walls, who left last after 12 years to take a head coaching job at Bainbridge High School in Georgia.

Jay Walls arrived at Navarre High School Thursday morning to inform his football team he’d no longer be the head coach of the Raiders.

It wasn’t easy.

It’s as if Chase Luebbert blinked and it’s his senior season of baseball with the Navarre Raiders.

He recalls some of the moments that got him into the sport in the first place, and he can’t believe his days as a Raider are winding down.
