For God’s Sake: Easter Sunday signals promise of a new life to come
Last month, I saw a meme that pictured a U.S. weather map where every state but ours was overlaid in colors of icy blue and purple showing frigid temperatures and heavy snow.
The entire state of Florida was overlaid in sunshine yellow and boasted temps in the low 80s north to south. That week in Navarre, our overnight temps dipped into the high 20s and the daytime temps barely crested 40 degrees.
Letter: Let’s celebrate
The evil Trump has been sent home because his policies were directed at improving our country. This is evil because he should have focused on serving the establishment.
His policies bought us the evil of full employment, better pay, self-respect through work, energy independence, secure borders, fair trade policies, defense of the Bill of Rights.
Out and About
Ever wonder what Navarre was like five years ago, or even 10 or 20?

Brian Out Loud
Millions of fans from around the nation are soaking in the excitement of the madness of March.
And you can’t blame them. The NCAA tournament is three weeks of win-or-go home basketball, with joy and heartbreak and everything in between all rolled into one.
Letter: Navarre misses out on $16.5 million
As Navarre residents we care deeply about how our tax money is spent. We are highly suspicious of government programs, promises and politicians.
We are quick to investigate any potential misuse and we pride ourselves on accountability.
Take a moment and focus on your breathing
Every day several times a day, the Apple watch my kids got me last year sends me an annoying reminder.
Breathe, it tells me. Just breathe.
My immediate impulse is to argue with this piece of technology.
Editorial: Traffic congestion tough road to hoe
Santa Rosa County businesses and officials want tourists to come. They are and in solid numbers if recent bed tax revenues are the indicator.
When the tourists come, they arrive in cars. The cars cause more congestion on our always crowded roads.
