Were truer words ever spoken? Senator Graham, spot on, said, “Somebody, Russians should take out this thug, Putin.”

Had the Germans taken out Hitler the world would be a better place.

My father-in-law celebrated another birthday earlier this month and is now 105 years-old!

Family and friends gathered at his home – yes, he still lives in his own house – to celebrate with him and to reminisce.

I want to start out with letting everyone know how each and everyone that was/is a teacher during our COVID era are amazing people.

We were open and never closed to enable the essential workers and others who were able to still work. We were able to be there for them and their children.

Covering other areas of Northwest Florida is giving us insights into how other cities and government bodies work.

We have covered an incorporated area of Santa Rosa County, Navarre, for 22 years. During that time, we have covered three attempts to move incorporating Navarre into a city.

Over time it seems the news media’s role has changed dramatically to more media entertainment.

There really is no room for change when your job is to report the truth.

It was some point in early August of 2019 when I first took notice of Austin Reed on the football field.

He was slinging the ball around in a scrimmage on one of those hot and humid evenings we are all too familiar with here late in the summer here in Northwest Florida, looking like a quarterback capable of doing big things for a UWF football program with high hopes.

Do you remember your first car? Mine was a 1965 Dodge Polaris that had done duty as our family vehicle for years.

After my dad purchased a “new” used car, he said I could have the Dodge if I paid the insurance.

We were able to get into Aldi two days before it opened and have a tour.

One of the great things about living in the U.S. is that our city and county governments are required to keep their citizens informed about their actions.

One of the ways they do this is through public notices — the informational notices that have been deemed to be of importance to local constituents.

And seeing that his final season as the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils is winding down, it’s fitting that I publicly issue that thank you now rather than later.
