This Sunday, the Navarre Sea Turtle Conservation Center will hold a Trash Bash in order to keep our seas debris free. The event is from 8 to 10 a.m. and collection bags will be provided to volunteers.

We were very saddened to learn of the two airmen who died in a training accident and we hope to have more about their lives in the next issue of Navarre Press. We found out that Tech Sgt. Marty B. Bettelyoun lived in Holley By The Sea with his wife and five children.

You will notice a lot of pictures from Red, White and Blues Weekend in this issue. To be honest, I took more than 2,000 photos over two days and ended up with less than 20 decent photos.
