As Navarre residents we care deeply about how our tax money is spent. We are highly suspicious of government programs, promises and politicians.

We are quick to investigate any potential misuse and we pride ourselves on accountability.

When was the last time you read the US Constitution or Declaration of Independence? Do you know the liberties delineated in the 1st Amendment?

If not, if you don’t know your liberties or inalienable rights, how do you know when they’ve been eliminated by government?

The natural beauty of Navarre is what makes it unique.

When I first moved here, my extended family came to visit. They had visited Destin and Pensacola many times before. They wanted to know why I chose to live here instead. So, I took them to the beach.

An open letter to the citizens and county commissioners of Santa Rosa County: 

Most of us have received a very pretty post card in our mail that began, ” Waste Pro is excited to continue as your solid waste provider.”

Over the last four years, thanks to our General Manager April Salazar, we have a beautiful community center (that is) well-managed.

The Board of Directors has failed to bring the community together.

I have attempted to obtain the vaccine for the past few weeks.

I am 85 years old, handicapped (knee brace and use cane).

Over the past 20 years, I have lived in two different houses on Ortega Street. And now within a half-mile radius, we have the high school, the sports complex and the YMCA.

We have seen multiple deaths, injury and destruction of property due to speeding and reckless driving (IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA).

I recently sent this letter to our supervisor of elections.  I thought others might want to use it as a template.

There was a Santa Rosa Board Meeting last night. Presiding over the meeting were:
